[Video] Introducing lash services to a nail salon
Regular nail salon-goers are the perfect clientele to introduce to lash services, making extensions, lifts and express brow treatments an obvious choice for nail salon owners looking to add new services to their treatment menu.
In this video, Nail Harmony UK Master Educator Jazz Christodoulou talks us through how to go about introducing lash and brow services to your nail business.
1. Ask clients what they want
“[Lash services] are great because there are lots of different options and it makes the client’s life so much easier,” says Christodoulou.
Explaining how there’s something for every type of client, not just those who like the look of a glamourous full set of extensions, she says: “Those clients who have beautiful long, thick lashes could just have a lift and a tint.”
2. Create packages
“Salon owners can group nails and lashes together very easily because they go hand in hand,” says Christodoulou.
“If [techs] are advanced enough, the treatments could even be done at the same time; lashes and another tech doing nails, which is really special for the client.”
3. Be a walking advertisement
“Salon owners can really easily introduce lash services to their existing nail clients by being their own advertisement; making sure they’ve got lashes on and their brows done all the time. [Salon staff] are the best advertisement,” advises Christodoulou.
